Robin in the Meadows

from Fall Into The Sun by Pine Grooves

lyrics

Am I but a soul caged behind these eyes and tongue
wondering which way will take me to the sun?
Oh no

The years are fading but surely all I've heard
will echo beyond me into these very words,
Oh lord

To be free as wild animals
and let life itself absorb a seeking soul
and if my heart awakes
what more will I say?

Be where your heart brakes
and let the branches fall
climb for no reason, no reason at all
Oh no

and I now grace carries everything
but I'm still fighting for the air I breathe
as time's weary current
wrecks it's way through me
oh lord

To be free as wild animals
and let life itself absorb a seeking soul
and if my heart awakes
How much can I take?

I don't know.

Love is a mystery, an ancient winding song
Find where we're going and tell it to no one
oh no

Breath of the sparrow, fly into my heart
Fill my with music
as this spring day fades to dark
oh lord

To be free as wild animals
and let life itself absorb a seeking soul
and if my heart awakes
I'll give myself away

Oh lord, oh no, don't go
In the moonlight and in the rain
it whispers through my veins

After five years of gibberish, ragged exploration, and occasional transcendence, they found that their time to groove had come. Thus, they began chopping wood.
